Crazy, Fun Wedding Entrance

When I first saw this video circling the internet the other night, I immediately posted this on my facebook page. But this is way to much fun not to mention it on the blog, too. I would serious love to photograph an entrance something like this!

So I just figured I should tell all my future brides and grooms out there reading this to check out this video of the best wedding entrance ever and start practicing one for your wedding!

Engagement Photo Guest Book: Darlene & Jon

I am excited to share some photos of a brand new product that I just started offering this year: custom designed guest books using photos from your engagement session! These are a fun alternative to traditional guest books that you will love looking back through years later.

The books are 20 pages long and contain plenty of white space along side your photos for your wedding guests to leave you personal messages. Here some photos I took of Darlene and Jon's guestbook before I sent it to them.

The pages to lay flat when opened, making them easier to write on.

Here are a few of my favorite spreads:

Chicago from a Boat

Yesterday, I flew back to Atlanta after four days of touring Chicago. Mark and I had a great time seeing Chicago and visiting Mark's brother. After landing at the Atlanta airport, I rushed home to repack my bags and headed off to South Carolina for the wedding of two of my friends from college. I'll be back in Atlanta Sunday, and this time, I won't be going out of town again for several weeks.

Back to the trip. Monday afternoon, Mark and I went on an architecture boat tour of Chicago. Here are some of my favorite photos taken from the tour of different Chicago buildings.

A fun self-portrait I took of Mark and me on the boat!

Hello from Chicago!

I flew up to Chicago Friday night and will be here until Wednesday morning. It has definitely been a busy summer of traveling, but I am having a great trip! Here are a few photos I took while touring around the city yesterday.

I'll post more photos later!

A Beautiful Wedding in Pembroke, GA

Last month I headed down to Pembroke GA, about 30 miles east of Savannah GA, to second shoot a wedding with Shara Lana. I always have fun shooting with other photographers and this wedding was no exception!

Every last detail of the day was stunning and carefully coordinated. A little rain early in the day couldn't stop the wedding from being absolutely beautiful. Here are some of my favorites, starting with their first look before the ceremony.

Married!

All the pink and green details were simply gorgeous!

Favorites from this Weekend

I was lucky enough to spend July 4th weekend in Columbia with some of my favorite people. It was a great weekend filled with fun, fireworks, family, friends, games and relaxing.

A few photos of my sisters.

To finish it off, below are a few photos of Mark and me celebrating our anniversary yesterday. The first few are from our visit back to the place we were married followed by some photos of us toasting and eating the top of our wedding cake. And just in case you were wondering, I thought I would let everyone know that the cake still tasted good, even after being frozen for a year.

I've been posting a lot of personal photos lately, but check back tomorrow afternoon to see some gorgeous photos from a recent wedding!

One Year Ago Today...

Today, Mark and I celebrated our one year anniversary. We spent the 4th of July weekend in Columbia SC, and before heading home, we stopped to visit the Horseshoe and peek inside Rutledge Chapel where we were married.

It is hard to believe that our wedding was a year ago. Some days it feels like just yesterday that we were looking at venues and flowers and stressing over wedding planning . Now here we are about to eat our one year old wedding cake and find out whether or not it still tastes good!

I feel so lucky to be married to such a wonderful man. We had such a great first year together. Happy Anniversary, Mark. I love you!
