Rosie & Diego: Sneak Peek

When it was pouring rain on the day we had scheduled their engagement session, Rosie and Diego decided not to let the rain stop them from doing an outdoor shoot. These two are awesome! From sitting in the wet grass to jumping in puddles, these two were up for anything. Here is a quick sneak peek for Rosie and Diego from their rainy session.

This first one was one of the last photos of the sessions and one of my favorites.

By the end of the shoot they were soaking wet!

More photos and the slideshow will be up soon. Rosie and Diego, thank you both for such a fun shoot!

Tenika's Maternity Photos

This weekend, I photographed Tenika's maternity session. The session included her 13 year old daughter Jordyn, too! We were able to get some great mother-daughter photos of the two of them along with some beautiful photos of Tenika by herself. She looked gorgeous in the morning light.

Tenika's son is due next month, and I could tell from the planning leading up to our session that she is just so excited! I can't wait to see her again once the baby is born for his newborn session. Here are a few favorites from the shoot. The slideshow is at the end.

Doesn't Tenika look great?

I love these! They are both so sweet!

Make sure to check out Tenika's slideshow below!

Tanya & Kwesi: Sneak Peek

This weekend, I met up with Tanya and Kwesi in Piedmont Park for their engagement photos. These two were so much fun to hang out with- they couldn't stop making each other laugh the entire session! It was a great weekend for a fall photo shoot because the leaves were starting to change colors.

Here is a little preview for Tanya and Kwesi. Check back in a few days for more photos and the slideshow.

So much fun...

These two were complete naturals in front of the camera!

More Portraits from the OSPS Model Shoot

Here are some portraits of two more of the beautiful models we photographed at the OSP South Warehouse shoot on Tuesday afternoon.

It was so much fun shooting with other photographers and seeing all the different style shots that each photographer got at the same place with the same models. I'll be sharing more photos from the warehouse shoot later in the week. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone else's photos, too!

Three Days in Macon, GA

I just got home last night after spending the last three days in Macon, GA for OSP South, a yearly workshop and get-together for photographers in the South. This was my second year attending and so much fun again! It was great to get together with a some of my photographer friends and meet lots of new ones, too. We had some great speakers and an awesome warehouse shoot with some models.

Here are a few shots from the warehouse shoot on Tuesday afternoon:

Check back soon! I have several recent shoots and more photos from OSP South that I'll be posting over the next few days.

Wednesday Flashback: Puerto Rico Sunrise

I was in Puerto Rico earlier this month, and the day I flew home, I decided to get up to see the sunrise. Well, as soon as I went outside, it started raining. There were dark clouds everywhere and no sunrise to be seen. Of course, just a few hours later, the sun came out.

So this week, I decided to post a photo of the sunrise in Puerto Rico that I took on my first trip there in 2007. Definitely wish I could have seen something like this again.

Sneak Peek from the Weekend in Greenville SC

Friday morning I headed up to Greenville SC for the weekend to second shoot a wedding with my friend Sheryl from Manna Photographics. On Friday afternoon/evening Sheryl took some new photos of me in downtown Greenville and some other really neat spots we found. As someone who is always shooting the photos, it felt weird to be on the other side of the camera, but we had so much fun and I love the photos.

Then on Saturday, Sheryl and I photographed a gorgeous wedding at Table Rock for a super-sweet couple. It was such an awesome wedding and it is going to be so hard to narrow down my favorites! I am off to Macon GA for the next few days to get together with a bunch of other photographers, but I wanted to share a few photos from Amanda and Greg's wedding. I'll post more photos when I get back.

Wednesday Flashback: Concert Photography

This week's Flashback Photo is of John Mayer performing in Columbia SC on February 8, 2007. I have always really enjoyed any chance I had to photograph live concerts and this was no exception. Here are two of my favorites from the concert:

The Beach Before Sunset | Puerto Rico

The first day of my trip to Puerto Rico, I took a walk down the beach about an hour before sunset and it was absolutely gorgeous. The sun was so bright that it lit up the water perfectly- it just looked like waves were sparkling. I made a mental note to take another walk around the same time of day with my camera before I went home.

Late Wednesday afternoon, I headed back out to take some photos on the beach and was happy to see the beach was just as beautiful as I remembered. Here are my second set of photos from my trip to Puerto Rico:
