The ladies over at Wedding Chicks have some free templates for do-it-yourself wedding menus, gift labels and escort cards. I thought they were super cute, so I had to share them!

'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

Or at least we pretended it was the night before Christmas.

This weekend Mark and I went to my parents house to celebrate Christmas early with them since we will be spending Christmas with Mark's parents this year. On Saturday night we had Christmas Eve followed by Christmas day Sunday morning. It was great to be able to share all of my family's Christmas traditions with Mark, and I am looking forward to spending Christmas with his family Christmas day.

Here's some photos of our early Christmas celebration, stating with the tree!

One of our Christmas traditions is having lots of hor d'oeuvres on Christmas Eve for dinner. My dad is in charge of cooking them and making them look pretty.

On Christmas Eve, my parents always give us pajamas. When my sisters and I were little, we would usually get matching Christmas pajamas that we would all put on before bringing out the milk and cookies for Santa. Now, my mom still gets us cute pajamas, but they aren't all matching.

Mark also got his set of pajamas!

Everyone was excited to exchange presents!

My mom was really excited about this present!

'Tis The Season!

I love Christmas! The decorations, putting up the Christmas tree, watching my favorite Christmas movies, looking at Christmas lights, listening to Christmas songs... the list goes on and on. I just love it all! This year is extra special because Mark and I are celebrating our first Christmas together.

This past Saturday I realized just how close it was to Christmas, so on Sunday Mark and I set out to get ourselves a tree. Then we that afternoon, we decorated the tree, made hot chocolate and listened to Christmas music. Now when I look around and see the lights on our tree, it really feels like Christmas time.

Mark trying to put the star on top of the tree. We had some difficulties with our super heavy star.

Our stockings hung by our cool light up train stocking hangers.

Did I already say how much I love Christmas decorations? Here are some of ours!

Tada! Our beautiful tree.

Here is a little shot we took of ourselves in front of the tree once we were all done decorating.

Irene: Charleston, SC

I had so much fun shooting these photos of Irene! I love that you can just tell how much fun she is in these photos- especially when she is spinning in the streets. She looks so glamorous in every shot.

These are the final set of photos that I shot in Charleston, SC. Enjoy!

As we were finishing shooting, the sun was starting to set and we got some cool shots by the water. I just love sunsets!

Mike and Gray

Mike and Gray were really fun to photograph in the streets of Charleston. They were married not long ago and wanted some casual photos of the two of them together.

If you are already married, it is still lots of fun to have portraits taken together. It can be a casual photo session for an anniversary or just because. It could also be a chance to get back in your wedding dress and not worry about getting it dirty this time. Now, here are some of my favorite shots of them.

This is one of my favorites.

Shannon: Charleston, SC

I just love how these shots of Shannon turned out! Her dress is absolutely gorgeous, and she looks so fabulous in all of her photos.

These are another set that I shot while I was in Charleston, and as I said in an earlier post, there are just so many cool places to shoot in Charleston. I am excited to post the rest because they all look so great.

I just love the back of her dress.

More Charleston Portraits

I still have several more sets of photos from Charleston to post. I had so much fun shooting in Charleston! There are just so many cool and unique looking places to photograph.

This next set is of the beautiful Rachel. These were taken outside of St. Philips Church in Charleston, SC.
