Canoe Atlanta Wedding: Ross & Carmen {Part II}

As promised, here is the second half of Ross and Carmen's beautiful wedding at Canoe Restaurant in Atlanta, photographed by Sheryl and me last month. Below are a few of my favorite portaits of the happy couple, along with some more of the details from the ceremony site and reception. Be sure to check out the first set of photos here. I love this first shot of the two of them!

There are so many beautiful spots outside at Canoe and the outdoor ceremony setup overlooking the Chattahoochee River is so pretty.

A few of my favorite portraits of the newlyweds:

I loved the green details and airplane theme used on the place cards and table settings. Each guest also received a CD at their seat.

Congratulations Ross and Carmen!

Leslee and Jonathan: Engaged!

Leslee and Jonathan are a super fun couple that love traveling to new places. They met while attending college at Clemson and have already been to five different countries together. They are now living in Atlanta where Jonathan grew up and are planning their September wedding. They placed third in my 3rd annual Fun Photo Contest that I held earlier this year with their clever "Catch Us If You Can" entry.

I had so much fun getting to know them while photographing their engagement session. We started their session out in a classic car junk yard. It was such a neat place to explore! We ended their session in Piedmont Park with some beautiful photos of Leslee and Jonathan with the city in the background. Enjoy some of my favorites from their session and check out their slideshow at the end!

Inspiration: Blue and Orange Weddings

This week's wedding inspiration is a collage of my favorite orange and blue details from 2010 weddings. I think this look makes such a great color scheme from a fall wedding, with the pumpkin decorations and the changing trees in the background!

OpLove: Andy's Homecoming

Andy arrived home Sunday morning after a year in Kuwait, and was welcomed home at the Atlanta airport by his wife, Melinda, and their five children. His family arrived at the airport at 6:00 am and waited there for nearly four hours, alternating between checking the arrivals board for information and looking for Andy's face in each group of people stepped off the escalators. Suddenly, Melinda look to her right, and there was Andy standing next to her and the rest of the family gathered around to hug their dad.

Leslee and Jonathan: Sneak Peek!

On Friday, I photographed Leslee and Jonathan's engagement session. We went to a really cool spot for the first half of their session that is filled with old vintage cars, and we had so much fun exploring. I am loving their photos and am excited to share this little preview for Leslee and Jonathan to see. More photos and the slideshow are coming soon!
