Casey's Graduation: University of South Carolina

Earlier this month, my sister Casey graduated from the University of South Carolina. I can't believe that my little sister has already graduated from college and is off to start a new job next week. Our family is all so proud of her! It is hard to believe that four years has already passed since I was down there graduating in the very same place. Inspiration: Brown and Green Wedding

Today's wedding inspiration is made up of my favorite brown and green details from 2010 weddings. I just love this look for outdoor weddings! I especially focused choosing photos that used wood and natural green elements.

Christy & Ty: Engaged!

I have known Ty for several years now, and I have never seen him as happy as he is when he's around Christy. The two of them are such a perfect match for each other. After even just a few moments around Christy and Ty, it is obvious how completely in love they are with each other. For their engagement photos, we headed to the park where Ty asked Christy to marry him. As we wandered around the park, they tossed the football back and forth and reminisced about that special day. Seeing the way Christy and Ty looked at each other made me smile, and I can't wait to photograph their wedding this summer!

Vinewood Weddings and Events | Newnan GA

Last week, I had the pleasure of visiting Vinewood, a new venue in Newnan, just south of Atlanta. It is such a gorgeous place for a rustic wedding, complete with lots of open fields, a barn and a beautiful house. As I walked around, I was imagining all the possibilities for wedding photos, and I cannot wait for the chance to photograph a wedding here!
