Back from Charleston, SC

Sorry for the lack of blog posts this week. I have been in Charleston, SC the past few days for a photography conference. I had a great time and met some awesome photographers! I have lots of photos from Charleston that I will be posting this week, as well as several engagement sessions.

Here's two I took while doing a beach shoot on Folly Beach.

Madison and Jason: Engaged!

I am so lucky to that I am always getting to photograph the most awesome couples! Madison and Jason are no exception. As soon as these showed up for their engagement session, I knew we were going to have fun together.



Madison and Jason met through mutual friends and have been dating for about two and a half years. The way they are always making each other laugh is just too cute!





We were lucky enough to have perfect fall weather to shoot these photos. Before I started shooting their session, I noticed that the leaves on one tree had started changing colors. So I took the opportunity to get some nice shots of them sitting in the leaves under the tree.






I love this shot of them.

Gamecock Football Weekend

I love going to football games! Back when I was in college, I used to go to every South Carolina home game, either as a fan or a photographer. I definitely miss going to games all the time now that I am living in Atlanta.

This year, I was able to make it back to South Carolina for a couple of games. The game against Tennessee on Saturday was the first game Mark and I were able to go to with my parents. We thought we would be able to all go to more games together, but between everyone's schedules it just didn't work out until now.

Here we are in our seats before the game.



Here is one more photo I just had to add: Cocky making his appearance during 2001 before the game. This one was taken on the field at the Tennessee game two years ago- I definitely was not able to get that close a view from my upper level seats!
