El Yunque Rain Forest | Puerto Rico

Greetings from Puerto Rico! Mark and I are down in Puerto Rico right now, and on Sunday, we had an a great time visiting El Yunque Rain Forest. We always enjoy hiking and exploring the mountains back home, so getting to drive and hike through the rain forest was so much fun! There are so many gorgeous sites to see.

We hiked out to the La Mina Falls.

Puerto Rico's El Yunque Rain Forest has the beautiful La Mina Falls

Once we got to the falls, we had a picnic on the rocks and then Mark went swimming under the falls.

Rebecca & Scott: Engaged!

Rebecca and Scott make such a cute couple! We met up for their engagement photos at the old Paper Mill Ruins, a gorgeous spot with lots of neat locations for photos, and we had so much fun exploring the area while I photographed them.

Rebecca and Scott told me they would be bringing their dog along to include in the photos. As it turns out, they recently got a second dog, so they were able to bring him along, too. They are seriously the cutest little dogs ever! Rebecca's parents came along to the session to look after the dogs, and I can tell by the way they all joked around with each other that they are excited about Scott becoming a part of the family.

Here are a few favorite from their session. Check out their sneak peek from a few days ago for more!

As I said earlier, it was an awesome location!

Wednesday Flashback: Paris Streets in Black & White

This week's Flashback Photo is a black and white film photo taken in Paris during the summer of 2001. Like the first photo I shared in this series, this is another one of my earlier photos shot with black and white film on an SLR camera.

What I love about this photo are the interesting lines in the street and the motion of the people walking on the left side of the frame.
